“The Alberta FASD Service Networks are reaching out to caregivers and educators across the province to gather feedback on the impact of the WRaP 2.0 FASD Coaching Partnership Project and to explore opportunities for future collaboration between the education sector, FASD Service Networks, and families.About the FASD Service Network
The Alberta FASD Service Networks deliver FASD-informed services province-wide, using a holistic, client-focused approach. Through strong community partnerships, the FASD Service Networks provide culturally appropriate care in key areas such as assessment and diagnosis, targeted prevention, and ongoing support services and interventions.
What is WRaP 2.0?
Launched in 2021, the WRaP 2.0 – FASD Coaching Partnership Project is a five-year collaboration between the Alberta Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Seniors, Community and Social Services, and the FASD Service Networks. The project established 10 regional FASD Instructional Coach positions to work closely with educators, offering professional development, sharing resources, and delivering one-on-one or small group FASD-informed support. This initiative aims to enhance FASD understanding and improve outcomes for students with FASD in Alberta schools.
Why Your Feedback Matters
Your input will help us evaluate the effectiveness of the WRaP 2.0 project and guide the future of partnerships between the education sector, FASD Service Networks, and families. Whether you’re an educator implementing FASD-informed strategies or a caregiver witnessing their impact, your perspective is invaluable.
