Metis Week is celebrated every year during the week of November 12th - 18th. This week specifically is designated as Metis week in memory of Louis Riel’s wrongful execution on November 16th.

The Metis Nation of Alberta announced the theme “Rock your Mocs” as a way to show your Metis Pride.

To show support the NWR-FASD Society team rocked our Mocs all week long.
